  • Project Overview

    The Patiala Foundation, in partnership with OMED e.V. (Germany), is implementing an SHG Online project aimed at training women from 10 Self-Help Groups (SHGs).To support this initiative, we require an online communication network tool to enable seamless digital connectivity, facilitate interaction, and provide a Digital Safe Place for SHG members to connect, collaborate, and access resources securely.

    We invite your proposal to:

    1. Design/create/explore a user-friendly communication network tool.
    2. Integrate desired functionalities and fields for SHG operations as per inputs of the members of the SHGs.
    3. Host the tool on a cloud platform for at least one year.
    4. Imparting Training to the staff and members about the tool.

    Key Requirements

    1. Functional Features

    The tool must include the following functionalities:

    1. User Profiles:
      • Member registration (Name, Age, Address, SHG Name).
      • Profile creation for SHGs and individual members.
    2. Communication Tools:
      • Group and individual chat options.
      • Notification system for announcements and updates.
    3. Training Resources:
      • Access to training videos, documents, and guides.
      • Progress tracking for SHG members.
    4. Digital Safe Space:
      • Encrypted and secure platform ensuring data privacy.
      • A moderated space for SHGs to engage without fear of harassment or misuse.
    1. Warnings:
    • Integration of automatic notification of weather warnings etc.
    1. Technical Specifications
    • Cloud Hosting: Reliable cloud hosting for at least one year.
    • Mobile-Friendly: Fully responsive design for mobile and desktop.
    • Multilingual Support: English and Hindi at a minimum.
    • Scalability: Capable of supporting more SHGs as the project grows.
    • Security: End-to-end encryption and secure user authentication.
    1. Vendor Responsibilities
    2. Explore,Design and develop the tool as per the specified requirements.
    3. Integrate features and functionalities as outlined above.
    4. Provide hosting services for at least one year with periodic backups.
    5. Deliver a user manual and training session for key stakeholders.
    6. Offer technical support and maintenance for 12 months post-deployment.
    7. Proposal Submission Guidelines

    Your proposal must include:

    1. Detailed project plan with timelines.
    2. Cost estimate for design, integration, and hosting.
    3. Technology stack to be used.
    4. Team expertise and previous relevant projects.
    5. Maintenance and support plan.
