In a significant step towards establishing sustainable environmental conservation practices in place, Punjab’s first Community Dry Leaf Composter (DLC) was inaugurated today at Meritorious School, Punjabi University Patiala, under Project PRITHVI, the flagship environment conservation initiative of Patiala Foundation.

The installation ceremony was graced by Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Administrative Secretary, School Education, Government of Punjab, as the Chief Guest, together with the Special Invitees, Dr. Jagdeep Singh, Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala,Smt.Preeti Yadav,IAS, Deputy Commissioner Patiala and Sh. Paramvir Singh, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, along with a host of dignitaries.
